London, 10 January 2022 -- Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) organisation, Wavecrest, today announced the launch of a new feature within Tesco’s mobile app, Tesco International Calling. The new feature, called Mobile Airtime Recharge, allows users of the app to top-up prepaid (PAYG) mobiles, across the globe.
The Tesco International Calling app has been supporting consumers in the UK and Ireland for a number of years. It allows them to make international calls at very low rates (from 1p per minute). In addition, the app offers free SMS worldwide and even allows users to earn Clubcard points when they add credit.
The new Mobile Airtime Recharge feature compliments the existing capabilities and is designed to ensure friends and family spread across the globe stay connected. With just a couple of taps, users can add credit, mobile data or minutes bundles to their loved one’s mobile phone, anywhere in the world. The service is simple to use and reliable.
